The second season of Desperate Housewives debuted on 25th September 2005. The season aired a total of 24 episodes. In the first episode, Mike returns home to find Susan being held hostage by Zach while Lynette joins an ad agency and Bree is irritated when Rex’s demanding mother, Phyllis, comes for his funeral. Gaby tries to deal with her pregnancy and with the guilt of meeting John, while Carlos is still in jail and Betty and Mathew hide a horrible secret.
Edie is Karl’s new girlfriend which dismays Susan while Lynette tries to enlist Tom’s help in household work. Bree is driven crazy by the melodramatic grieving of Phyllis, and an inmate beats up Carlos. Bree ends up in serious trouble with law, while Susan tries accepting Edie’s new role in Julie’s life. Lynette is forced to miss Parker’s first day of kindergarten and Gaby seeks Carlos’ forgiveness after catching John with another woman. Gaby’s visits Carlos which leads to a riot in the prison while Susan tries to help Mike in locating Zach. Susan tries to financially help her longtime friend, Lonny Moon while Bree re-buries Rex with the police still suspecting her. Lynette’s man-hungry boss Nina, forces her to stay out late while Carlos disapproves of the lawyer that Gaby has chosen to represent him. Matthew becomes anxious about how the police would visualize Caleb. Lynette tries to impress Nina while Bree comes much closer to George and Susan and Mike face crisis when Paul comes inquiring about Zach’s whereabouts. [Read More....]
